⚠️ Notification settings are available to the Educational Institution Administration.

The notification system automatically informs students, parents, teachers, and administrators about important platform events through internal notifications and email messages.

Where Notifications Are Displayed¶

On the Web Platform¶

Internal notifications are displayed in the user's notification center in the upper-left corner of the profile page and may contain information about:

• classes start time;
• homework assignments;
• incidents;
• upcoming individual classes;
• received grades;
• comments on grades;
• new chats and messages;
• new friends;
• new posts;
• new gifts, etc.

In the Mobile App¶

Users receive push notifications on their mobile devices if notifications are enabled in both the operating system settings and the mobile application settings.

Where Workspace Notification Settings Are Configured¶

To manage notifications within an educational institution, navigate to:

Settings → General Settings

This section contains settings for lesson reminders, assignment reminders, incident notifications, individual lesson reminders, and payment notifications.

In addition, students and parents receive real-time notifications about grades awarded during lessons, homework grades, grade comments, assigned homework, homework deadlines, new friends’ posts, new gifts, and more.

Class Reminders Module¶

To use class reminders, the following module must be enabled:

Settings → Workspace Modules → Class Reminders

After activation, users will be able to receive automatic notifications about upcoming classes.

Class Start Reminders¶

The platform allows sending multiple reminders before a class begins.

Available settings:

Email Reminders¶

• First Email Lesson Reminder Delay
• Second Email Lesson Reminder Delay

Internal Notifications¶

• First internal lesson reminder delay
• Second internal lesson reminder delay

Values are specified in minutes before the lesson starts.

For example:
- first reminder — 15 minutes before the lesson;
- second reminder — 5 minutes before the lesson.

To configure these values:
1. Navigate to Settings → Workspace Modules → Class Reminders.
2. Click the context menu button on the right and select "Options".
3. Enter the reminder delay values in minutes.
4. Click "Submit".

Homework Reminder Time¶

This parameter defines the time of day when the system sends reminders about incomplete homework assignments.

To change the setting:

1. Go to Settings → General Settings.
2. Find the "Homework Reminder Time" parameter.
3. Click "Edit".
4. Specify the desired reminder time.
5. Save the changes.

Incident Notifications¶

The platform supports two methods of informing users about new incidents:
- internal notifications on the platform and in the mobile app;
- email notifications.

Each notification type can be enabled or disabled independently.

Available parameters:
- Internal Incident Notifications
- Email Incident Notifications

To enable or disable incident notifications:
1. Go to Settings → General Settings.
2. Locate "Internal Incident Notifications / Email Incident Notifications".
3. Click "Edit" next to the parameter.
4. Select the desired value: Enabled / Disabled.
5. Save the changes.

Upcoming Individual Lesson Reminders¶

The system can automatically remind users about scheduled individual lessons.

Available parameters:

• Internal Notification Individual Upcoming Lessons
• Email Notification Individual Upcoming Lessons

For each parameter, you can specify how many days before the lesson the reminder should be sent.

To enable or disable notifications for upcoming individual lessons:
1. Go to Settings → General Settings.
2. Locate "Internal Notification Individual Upcoming Lessons/Email Notification Individual Upcoming Lessons".
3. Click "Edit" next to the parameter.
4. Select one of the available options:
- 1 day;
- 1 week;
- 1 month.
5. Save the changes.

Where Notifications Are Configured in a User's Personal Profile¶

To manage personal notifications, navigate to "My Profile" → "Settings" and open the "Notifications" tab.

Use the toggle switches to enable or disable the corresponding notifications.

How to Disable Notifications in the Mobile App¶

1. Open Settings → Apps on your mobile device and find the Lummio application in the list of installed apps.
2. Open the application details page and locate the "Notifications" section.
3. Use the switch to enable or disable notifications for the application.
4. Sound settings are also available separately and can be controlled with an additional toggle.
5. Adjust the toggles according to your preferences.
