Finding and Submitting Assignments as a Student

Steps

  1. Open the platform and sign in to your account.
  2. In the menu on the left, select "Assignments".
  3. Review the list of assignments. Here you will see all assignments both home assignments and in-class tasks. To open a specific assignment, click the "View" button.
  4. Incomplete assignment appears on the top of the list with the "In Progress" status.
  5. If you want to expand the search options, use the filters at the top of the page. You can specify the date when the assignment was given, choose a specific subject, find an assignment by its content, select the assignment completion status, or set a due date for the assignment.
  6. After selecting the necessary filters, click the "Search" button.

Submitting an Assignment for Review

  1. Click the "View" button next to the required assignment in the list with the "In Progress" status.
  2. Upload the file with the completed assignment (a photo/image or a document, for example in .doc or .csv format).
  3. Click the "Send for Review" button at the top right corner of the page.
  4. The assignment will change to the status "Pending Review".
  5. If the teacher accepts the completed assignment and grades it, the assignment will change to the "Completed" status and the grade will appear. The student will receive a notification about the posted grade.
  6. If the teacher, after reviewing the completed assignment, declines it and returns it for revision, the assignment returns to the "In Progress" status. Each returned assignment is accompanied by a comment from the teacher. A notification about the teacher’s comment on the assignment appears in the notification area in the header of the workspace on the left.
  7. You can read the full text of the notification by clicking on the notification. "Chat with Teacher" page will open, where the first message will be the assignment comment.
  8. If the student has questions, they can continue replying in this chat window. Student can also initiate a chat with the teacher by clicking the "Chat" button at the top right. This is a private chat between the student and the subject teacher.

If a student accidentally uploaded the wrong assignment file

If a student accidentally uploaded an incorrect file with the completed assignment or found a mistake in the file after it was submitted for review, the file can be replaced as long as the assignment status is "Review". This means the teacher has not yet graded the assignment.

    To do this:
    1. Go to the "Assignments" section.
    2. Find your submitted assignment with the status "Review".
    3. Click the "View" button to the right of the assignment.
    4. Locate the uploaded file and click the red cross icon below it. This will delete the file.
    5. Upload the correct file with the completed assignment.
    6. Click "Submit for review".

The assignment file has been successfully replaced.
