Migrating Grades to the Journal

Migrating Grades to the Journal

⚠️ The "Assignments" and "Assignment Journal" modules must be enabled.

Grades assigned by a teacher for completed assignments created in the "Assignments" section (not in the Journal) are not automatically transferred to the Journal.

If a teacher needs to transfer grades for specific completed assignments to the Journal, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Assignments" section.
  2. Select the checkboxes to the left of student names and their graded assignments.
  3. Click the "Move grade to Journal" button in the upper-left corner.
  4. Fill in the form:
    • grade type;
    • date;
    • class period;
  5. Click "Submit" and wait for the successful migration notification in the upper-right corner of the page.
  6. To verify that the grade has been transferred, open the Journal. The grade type with the actual grade will appear in a separate column for the class date. A checkmark will also appear on the corresponding student assignment.
