How to take a quiz (instruction for the student)

To take a quiz, you need to go to the "Assignment" section, find the corresponding assignment, and click the "View" button.

Steps

  1. Go to the "Assignments" section.
  2. Find the required assignment and click "View", then click on the "Quiz" field.
  3. On the preview page, familiarize yourself with the time limit, the number of questions, and the maximum score of the quiz.
  4. Click the "Start quiz" button.
  5. Complete all the quiz questions.
  6. After finishing, click the "Complete quiz" button.
  7. If the teacher has enabled the "Show quiz results" option, you will be able to see your results right after completing the quiz.

Types of questions in quizzes

Audio and video files may be used in quizzes. Here are the following types of questions student can encounter:

  1. Questions with one or multiple correct answers.
    The student must select one or more options. The required number of answers to select will be indicated below the question.

  2. Fill-in-the-blank questions.
    The student types the correct words into the text.

  3. Fill-in-the-blank questions with suggested options.
    The student drags the correct options into the blanks.

  4. Matching questions.
    The student must match the elements from the left and right columns by dragging the answer options on the right so that they correspond to those on the left.

  5. Text Response.
    This is a free response question.
    The student enters their answer in a text field, after which it is reviewed by the teacher.

  6. Exact Answer Question.
    In this case, the student’s answer must exactly match the correct answer specified by the teacher.
