Workspace Library

Workspace Library

⚠️ This section is available to users with Administrator permissions.

Overview

The "Library" section allows an educational institution to create its own digital repository of textbooks, manuals, and other educational materials. Materials uploaded to the library within the institution's workspace are available only to users of that workspace and are not visible to users from other institutions on the platform.

Before adding textbooks, it is recommended to prepare a list of material authors.

Adding Authors

For easier library management, first create a list of authors of educational materials.

How to Add an Author

  1. Navigate to "Library""Authors".
  2. Click "Add".
  3. Fill in the form fields:
    • Title — the author's full name in a single field;
    • First Name — optional;
    • Last Name — optional.
  4. Click "Submit".

💡 Creating a list of authors in advance allows you to quickly select them from the dropdown list when adding textbooks, as well as use them for searching and filtering materials.

Library Access Permissions

Materials uploaded to the library are available only to users within the current institution workspace.

Using access permissions, you can:

  • limit the ability to delete materials;
  • grant users access only to the textbooks they uploaded themselves;
  • hide textbooks uploaded by other staff members of the institution.

To configure access permissions, see Access Control Management.
