Create New Workspace

Creating a New Workspace by the User

⚠️ Only users with permission to create new workspaces will see the "Create New Workspace" option in the header.

Steps

  1. Open the Workspace Switcher in the header in the top-left corner of the page.
  2. Click "Create New Workspace". This opens the template selection screen.
  3. Review and select the template that mostly fits your educational institution requirements and structure.
  4. Click "Select" to the right of the template.
  5. Enter the name of your new workspace.
  6. Click "Create".
    After creating a new workspace from a template:
    - The template’s default modules are applied.
    - Default module settings are preloaded.
    - Default user roles are created automatically.
    - The User Role is assigned as the role that was selected as the Owner Role.
  7. The new workspace appears in the Workspace Switcher list and becomes active and ready to use immediately.
